35 year old female with no ortho, but sucked her thumb for 5 years. Both condyles tender to palpation in lateral movement. Headache as a child, but not now. Pano shows good airway, good condyles, but some extra notching at the angle of mandible. Patient is worried about occasional jaw sticking.

Patient is a vertical chewer. The bone positions have limited lateral movement. Movie is a tight pattern, but all the slides are dominated by the back teeth. No canine guidance.

FUNCTION HEALTH

Tighten up envelope of function because both condyles pop in lateral movement. No ortho even though she sucked her thumb for 5 years, so you have to think.
